Westcoast sessions

Yo!

I have had some nice session in my home spot Läjet lately and had a big day at a spot called Åsa a few days ago, but it was super onshore so it was hard to ride properly.

Hopefully we get some more wind before it gets super cold here i Sweden...

Wildcard to the Kia Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup 2012

I cant belive that I have got a wildcard to the Kia Cold Hawaii PWA World Cup 2012. To compete on the PWA world tour has been my dream since I started windsurfing. I'm super stoked and looking forward to learn a lot from this experience!

Mac on stage

Yo!

Besides windsurfing I also play a lot of music. Last weekend I featured my friends in Nudity is not a crime on stage during their releaseparty for the album World Like This. We did a great show and thanks to everyone who came and showed their support under Sticky Fingers roof!

Summer Sessions

Yo!

This summer has been pretty good in Sweden so far. We have got many days on the water but the wind has not been strong, a lot of 5,0... Hopefully we get some wind tomorrow so I can sail with my 4,5 firelight!

Been filming a bit with my gopro the last couple of sessions. Here is a clip from when I tried to have the Flymount on the mast a few days ago.

Got 3rd and 5th place on Surfers Day

Yo,

Surfers Day was a real success! There were ver 2.000 people trying different water sports, chilling out on the beach and watching us who were doing the SUP comps.

There were two SUP competitons. One short track and then the main paddle race. I came 5th in the short track after losing in the semi final against the guys who came 1st and 2nd in the final.

Then after a few hours the main paddle race were on. I was still a bit tired from the short track but pumped up for the race. I paddled my lungs out and came 3rd, wich I am super happy with!

I cant complain about my SUP racing debut....

Thanks to O'hana who lend me a board that day!

Looking forward to tomorrows SUP race!

Yo!

Tomorrow a local surfshop is putting up an event called "Surfers Day" wich includes a big SUP race. It will be fun to do my very first paddle race.. :)

So, today I'm going to Halmstad to pick up a Quatro SUP board from my great sponsor O'hana, and hopefully get a training session later today. Will post pix and stuff from the event tomorrow...

Red Bull Soulwave Video

Yo! My toe is getting better and in wont be long till I can be sailing again! ´Here is a nice video made by BSP-media. They did really catch the atmosphere of the event and the action! You can see me do a cutback at 4,30 in the video. :) As you can see the level on the windsurfing was high so I'm stoked about my 9th place! Enjoy/ Mac

Red Bull Soulwave 2012 Sum Up.

Yo!

Red Bull Soulwave 2012 is over. Two days ago we had some nice conditions for both windsurfing and SUP. In the SUP comp I advanced to the quaterfinals before the wind picked up. I rigged my sails and went out to warm up before my heat. Somehow i manage to cut my toe pretty deep on the reef 10 minutes before my first heat. It was bleeding a lot and I had to put it together with ducktape just before the heat started.. I manage to go through my heat so I was happy but a little worried cuz it was still bleeding a lot. I redid the quick fix of my toe before the quaterfinal and went out. Despite landing a big backie and getting good waverides I lost against Björnå and Gobish. After that I went straight to the hospital and got 5 stiches in my toe.... :p In the end i finished at 9th place in the windsurfing catagory, which I'm happy with!

Yesterday the wind was gone so the SUP ladder got finnished. I couldn't go in the water with my toe so I didn't get any more points in the over all.

I would like to thank Red Bull and the organisers for pulling off an awesome event and my sponsors HotSailsMaui (.se) and O'hana.se for their help! I am allready looking forward for next years event!

Off to Denmark and social media

Yo! Imorgon bär det av till Danmark. Ska bli kul att köra och vara med i Red Bull Soulwave. Riktigt feta namn så som Koster, voget, danielsen och Jamer ska vara med, så jag känner ingen jättepress att komma långt... Ska försöka hålla er uppdaterade därifrån.

Tomorrow I'm off to Denmark. It's gonna be great to sail there again and be in the Red Bull Soulwave. Heavy names like Koster, Voget and Jamer is in the comp, so I dont feel any pressure at all, Just going there, sail my best and have fun!

Waiting for wind and Red Bull Soulwave

Yo!
Det märks att Sverige inte levererar riktigt lika mycket vind som Maui, haha..
Men imorgon verkar det bli vind så då hoppas jag att jag får köra av mig lite!
Över midsommar ska jag vara med på Red Bull Soulwave. Det är en kombinerad vindsurfing och SUPtävling. Det ska bli riktigt kul och jag hoppas på att vi har tur med vinden!

Hoppas jag får lite bilder från imorgon som kan komma upp här!

No doubt that Maui is more consistent then Sweden, haha. But tomorrow seems to bring some wind I and would love to get back on the board again!
Next week I will participate in Red Bull Soulwave. It is a combined windsurf an SUP comp and I am exited to be competeing in both! Lets pray for wind..

National Teamrider for HSM

Okej, dags för en skön nyhet:

Nu har jag blivit National Teamrider för Hot Sails Maui! Det känns riktigt kul att bli uppmärksammad för min segling, jag ser fram emot att representera HSM och jobba med de sköna personerna bakom märket. Jag kommer att köra på Firelight som är ett grymt segel jag verkligen har fastnat för. Känner mig sjukt peppad inför framtiden!

Time for some really good news:
I have now become a National Teamrider for Hot Sails Maui! I am so excited to cooperate with the brand and the awesome people behind it. I'm going to ride the Firelight, which is an amazing sail. I'm totally stoked about the future!
